Mom and Dad were certainly proud of this little cutie. She settled right in for her shoot and rarely made a peep. Mom, Dad and Grandma enjoyed watching the whole process from start to finish almost as much as Holly and I enjoyed photographing her!
Our shoot with Drew couldn’t have been easier…he slept when we needed him to, was happy in mom and dad’s arms and let his big sister have some attention, too! Such a sweet little guy.
Sweet Isabel was 5 1/2 weeks old when we photographed her, but she was so tiny she still seemed like a 2 week old newborn. Izzy’s bright blue eyes are going to get her lots of attention some day.
Less than a week after our return from the workshop, Holly and I had our first shoot with this precious baby. Much to our surprise, he was one strong baby. He could flip himself out of so many of our poses. I have no doubt this little guy is going to grow up to be an athlete!
Back in January my good friend and fellow photographer, Holly Heine, and I went to Vancouver, WA to take a workshop with Laurie Ludes of www.laurielphotography.com to learn the art of newborn photography. Our days there were jam packed photographing newborns and learning photoshop techniques to enhance these already works of art. I can tell I’m going to love this new specialty.
